I'm building a shed, and have now idea how many bundles of shingles to buy. I'm planning on doing a 12x10 with a gambrel style roof. So can you give me a ball park?

You figure the coverage in increments of 100 square feet ( aka SQUARE). Most companies make it to be 3 bundles make a SQUARE.

Remember, the roof will be bigger than the footprint of the shed itself. You should still be ok with 2 sq, but take the measurement of your actual planned roof, not the shed floor.

True, very true. I'm thinking if I'm using a 12/7 pitch for the bottom, and a 7/12 pitch for the top, with 41" lenghts, I'm looking at about 164 sq. feet. My floor will be 120 sq. feet.
