Hello folks!
A quick intro....
Obviously by my handle I am new at woodworking. I love to cook outdoors like the stereotypical male, and have nice smoker/grills in tables-tables that I purchased from those grills' company for high cost, and paid big $$$ for tables that are simply 2x4's.
Now I want to build these myself. It's too late for tables for the grills I have, but I want to build an outdoor preptable-running sink(old sink from my kitchen that has been remodeled), cutting/food prep area, burners to boil water,ect,- complete with cabinets below surface to store charcoal, accessories, ect,. Im guessing the est and most economic way to do this is with 2x4's and plywood- plywood for surface and cabinet surface.
My current inventory of tools:
1) "B&D" circular saw- got from parents house. Dad passed away 4 yrs ago and taking some stuff since mom doest use- how do I know if this at-least 30 yr old saw is good. And what kind of blade do I use for both plywood and 2x4's?
2) Black and decker $20 jigsaw- best blades to use?
3) 2 electric drillers- 1 3.5 amp and other 3 amp- one for drilling while other for screwing- i didnt know a combo was available before today:( . Just dont want to keep changing bits
4) cheap circular sander.
5) $30 black and decker workmate bench
1st question is- what do I need to cut strait? like for the legs
to get a good balance and that perfect hole for the sink?
Thanks!
