Several people I know have the green colored plastic lawn chairs. They leave them outside from the first warm day until snow flies. They have faded (for lack of a better word)and have a chalky film on them. Is there something that can be done to them to remove or cover this film? Soap and water or even vinegar and water has no effect. I know they are clean but they look bad. Anything besides painting them to get them to shine like they did when they were new? Wax maybe ?

Krylon sells spray paint specifically for outdoor plastic things and it comes in different colors, too.
