I will be installing a Roman shade on a fiberglass door that has a window. What type of screw do I need to use?

Welcome to the forums. Generally fiberglas doors have rails and stiles in their perimeters as do regular wooden doors. Some are even solid. I would use a #6 x 1/2" round head either bright zinc or stainless steel. You would want to predrill your holes with a small drill bit. Let us know if we can help further.

I always use sheet metal screws in the door skins, whether FG, masonite, or steel. Esp for shades or curtain rods (lightweight).

That would eliminate drilling pilots, so there ya go!

Not self drilling tho, not in that thin stuff.

Chandler, I still drill pilots.

I thought you were talking about the drill point sheet metal screws. My bad. Then definitely drill pilots.
