I have a Kenmore Elite HE3 font loading washing machine that is about 3 years old. It has started to sound differntly and the E02 warning light keeps coming on.
The manual says that is a drainage problem, but i don't know what to do about it. We have checked the tubing coming from the machine into the drain in the wall and that is clear, as is the piping in the wall.
How else can I resolve this problem. I have three kids who go through a LOT of clothing and we need help!
thanks!

Remove the bottom front panel. Behind the panel you will see a canister which has a center portion that unscrews. Place a large towel under it and unscrew the center portion. This is a "coin catcher" that catches debris (wood chips, coins, jewelry, stones...) that would have otherwise clogged the hose. Empty all the debris out and put it back together. That should solve your problem. You will need to do this routinely (about every 6 months).
