Maytag Refrigerator MFF2557 Freezer Cold Refigerator Warm - The freezer is freezing fine. The refrigerator is warm. How does the cold air from the freezer get into the refrigerator?

Through a vent.

To get cold in the fridge section you must make sure the evaporator fan that blows air in the freezer, and baffles it into the fridge section at same time through that vent, is working. It is supposed to always run when the compressor runs.

And you must make sure that no ice is blocking in the baffle or vent. If there is any ice up there you coud have a blocked defrost drain line that does not let the melted water out. And if that happens the water refreezes, which can stop the flow of cold to the fridge section. Another cause of the icing up is the defrost thermostat or timer is not working.

All work on refrigerators are very easily DIY-able except for compressor change-out or refrigerant recharging, or such associated work. I'd say like 70% of the time it is something easily fixable that does not cost very much money, or no money (in the case of clogged up defrost line)
