I am trying to recover a dining room chair that has a curved back with vinyl. My problem is that I have creases/wrinkles in the bend of the chair. Anyone have any ways to remove them?

Hi and welcome to the forum! Are the creases there and you want to remove them before recovering, or are they there after you've recovered? Are you using vinyl again or fabric?

Thanks for the return. I have recovered the chair with vinyl. The creases are there after I covered it.

Sounds like the vinyl is not tight enough. Was it tight when you first put it on or are you not able to get it tight? You need to stretch it tighter. You may need to use a fabric stretcher to grip the fabric better or get a couple people to help pull it tighter while you staple. Are you putting it on over the old vinyl? Might be grabbing it and causing some of the problem.
