Got a lawnmower from the mother in law without an owner's manual. Hasn't been used probably in over a year, and now it blows a little black smoke. I was going to change the oil and spark plug etc... but I don't know how much oil to put in it. Can anyone help me out with this.

Honda walk behind mowers will take 20 ounces of oil. You check the oil on Honda units by removing the dipstick, wipe it dry and reinsert without screwing it in but turn it just so the threads start to engage.
