I've had several contractors tell me the best way to raise my porch is to tile it to create a slope away from the house. The porch has not sunk for several years now, but the reverse slope is getting on our nerves. It needs as much as 5/8 of an inch to create the correct slope away from the house. Is tiling the way to go? Would a self-leveler work or should I use concrete? Will all of the material eventually erode? Or is there another method? Thanks to all who respond. Tom
