I recently got new drapes, they are hung above my bay window (close to ceiling) now I have decided that I want to add sheers. Should they be hung the same height as the drapes or at the height of the window so that the wall will still show? I guess this is a new trend in hanging drapes, a friend suggested this treatment and I'm familiar with it at all.

Hi and welcome to the forums! The sheers should be hung at the same height as the draperies but should be an inch shorter at the bottom.

I like to go a little less than an inch, but thats just me

Yep, half inch is fine too! :D Better longer than too short.
