Hi, I am trying to get a new system set up with a monitoring service....iI have a DSC 1832 with an LED panel. After I enter the installer code, the alarm light turns on, and the programming light flashes, as I beleive it should. When I try to enter the 3-digit programming section number, it simply gives me one long beep, and i cannot do anything else. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated!! Is my panel locked out? any way to unlock it?? Thanks!!!!

No, if the panel were locked, you would not go into program mode at all.
If you are entering *8 + [installer code], then when you enter the programming section, you should be jumping to the contents for that programming section.
