Recently I have notice reduced water pressure in various sinks in my house. What I found was small greenish/white deposits clogging up the screens. Could this possibly be from the anode deteriation in the water heater. How urgent do you feel this could be?

Hello, and welcome
Those green and white specs are are caused by normal scale buildup of minerals and breakdown in the plumbing water pipes and possibly the water heater. Draining of the water heater yearly may help to keep some of theses minerals down. How old is the water heater? Maybe it is due for a new anode rod.
Another thing to ponder is, what is the water quality like? High in minerals? If this issue is bigger than cleaning out aerators once in a while and flushing the water heater yearly, then maybe you should be looking into some kind of water conditioning. You would need to get your water tested BY AN INDEPENDENT LAB to find out what exactly is the cause of the buildup.
Personally, I would not worry unless it becomes a real issue.
