Does anyone know how to replace the cd belt on a Magnovox mini stereo player? It's a model MAS85/17.

Since no one else has come forward ...
Do you know that the belt is toast?
Most of those inexpensive all-in-one units have a removeable back panel that allows you access to the innards.
Unplug it and dive in. Most new belts are installed by wrapping around the larger wheel first, then gently coaxing it onto the smaller wheel by spinning it as you apply pressure so it jumps into the groove.
If you want, upload closeup photos to a site like Photobucket and post the links here. Maybe someone will chime in with better directions when they see the photos.

CD Belt? You mean for the CD player?
Every CD player I've seen (and I've seen a few) is direct drive, no belts, including the cheap ones.
Tapes and LP's still use belts, and even some of those don't use belts anymore.

Some use a belt for the tray mechanism.
