Just have to share this--I had a rust stain on several pieces of silky underwear and a pink blouse (my washing machine is evil). I sprayed WD-40 on, it disappeared in seconds! Really!
Lemon juice did nothing, but the WD-40 dissolved it immediately. This stuff is "miracle in a bottle."

Thanks for the tip. Now wipe down interior of dryer. Spray WD 40 on rag and clean rust. Wipe with damp rag to remove residue. If a gas dryer, leave door open for odor to dissipate. Never spray a cleaner into a dryer. Always spray on rag first. Another tip is to remove laundry ASAP and not leave in dryer, to prevent rust on laundry.
