I'm presuming you have done this before without any problem, so you do know what you are doing?

If so, then I'd call up a repair shop/preferably dealer of appliance, and say what your problem is, and that you paid good money for this and you really just want to know how to get it open, without having to pay some service call for something 1 month out of warrantee.

If they are not willing or able, I'd tell them I'd never buy that product again over something as goofy of a design as a machine not letting you inside - that is going to cost you money? And I'd tell them that I'd tell everyone I could about this also, so they don't buy the product either. That is how *I am.

I go balastic over such nonsense, with the modern/especially solid state-computer boards we have today, where nobody can easily diagnose or replace the exact cause, where it forces you to buy the whole new board, rather than simply plug some little (seemingly)59 cent part into the board. We all reasonably know that parts do go bad. But not in 13 months? Nope. I'd be speakin my peace, that's for sure.
