I have a GE electric range that is 3 1/2 years old. About 2 months ago we noticed a strong metallic oder when we would bake, but everything worked fine. Now the oven will not heat and the cooktop will not either? The clock/timer still work so I know there is still power? Any thoughts what could have gone out?
