Wouldn't you know it? I hired two guys that wanted work to help me clean out the back yard. The chain slipped off the saw bar about noon and I told them to break for lunch. I went to pick up the burgers and when I came back they had the Husq open and were playng with the chain. Now I can't get the clutch cover back on because the clutch brake won't fit over the clutch. It's in the stop position. I have a decent parts diagram and I'm hoping that I can release the brake without using the brake handle which I can't engage because the cluch cover won't fit!! Any suggestions?

don't own a husky but look for a cam that you can turn to loosen everything off. shouldn't be to hard to fix, if you can just spot the problem.

Just make a tool out of an old t-wrench and use it to disengauge the brake:

What diameter wrench did you use? What did you cut it with? Do you think same diameter PVC pipe would work?
Thanks in advance.

The wrench is 5/8" I used a 4" right angle grinder and cleaned it up with a file. It takes a lot of force to release the brake I don't think that PVC would work.
