i recently saw a house that had a smooth, concrete trowled finish on it's exterior. i loved the look. has anyone ever had any experience with this? if this were to be done, are the same steps taken as if it were to be stucco (vapor barrier, mesh, scratch coat, etc) up until the final coat? and what gage wire mesh shoud be used? i understand it may crack, which is fine, as long as it doesn't separate from the wall and start flaking off. anyone?
