Does anyone know from experience whether a "siliconized" latex caulk, such as DAP ALEX-plus will bond to a non-paintable caulk such as GE Silicone II? Thanks in advance

It's been my experience that silicone won't even stick to old silicone. It's best to remove the old silicone and reapply a fresh bead. You don't have to get way down into the joint. Just remove what you can from the surface to ensure a good bond.

You are better off removing the old stuff. Also make sure the area is dry when you are applying new.
