Alrighty you foundation gurus I've got a question or two for you!

I am going to build a house and I want the top of the concrete slab to be about 1.6ft above grade.

Now is it possible to achieve this with a monolithic slab design or do I have to build a foundation wall then backfill and pour a floating slab on top?

Would be heaps easier if I could just do the monolithic. :)
