I have a situation where I need to build a small wall to separate a fiberglass tub from a sink area.

I am going to use 1 5/8 20 gauge channels and studs. The tub side will eventually be tiled.

Should I put any type of gasket, sealing compound/material between the metal channel and the fiberglas tub deck? If so, what you you recommend?
