I visited your website earlier today for the first time, as I have just had a new carpet laid and the doors needed to be trimmed. In the past have used an electric plane with abismal results. Today I folowed the advice of the experts and purchased a circular saw, plus a fine toothed blade. Used the jig recommended and achieved perfect results.
My grateful thanks go to the experts.
PS. The hardest part of the job was getting the screws out of the hinge plates. A couple had to be drilled out in the end!

No need to remove hinges, just knock the hinge pin out.
