i've been trying to get rid of morning glories for the past (20) years and short of digging half way to china, no luck i've read and heard that round up will get rid of morning glories....my question is this.....won't the round up be absorbed and kill any other plants you have as well and how long does the round up stay in the soil? ? i'm sure if you use it sparingly there's less chance but it's still a chance you take and i've also been told to use round up then wait (2) weeks and then you can plant anything u want......does anyone know any truth is the above....any suggestions?

Roundup works by being absorbed into leaves and has no residual effect by being in the soil.
It only kills what it lands on.
Make sure you follow the instructions as to mixing and application and do not spray on anything you do not want to kill.
Roundup works best on a warm sunny day when plants are actively growing.
