Hi, I have a 42" LCD just over a year old. It scrambles the pixles when first turned on and then it will clear out. After a while it will scramble again and thats it for the day. It has gradually got worse and is now unviewable. Still have plenty of sound and there is still picture, it's just scrambled so you can not view it. Has anyone else ever seen this and does any one know the repair? Thanks All.....

Bah! These TV's should be removed the store shelves if they are still selling them.
Have you tried a different cable box? It actually sounds like an issue with your tv service provider. Often times if the signal is not strong enough, or there's a splitter going bad somewhere on the line, it will produce pixelite pictures.

The best way to check whether it's the cable box or the TV is to hook up a TV antenna in place of the cable. You'll only get channels 2 - 13 unless you reset the menu from "Cable" to "Antenna". Also check the TV's other inputs with a DVD player or VCR.
If you determine that it is the TV, there's not much a DIYer can do with an LCD.
