My Wife and I are about to close on a new home. We are wanting to redo the kitchen countertops and floors. With the expenses of closing on the home, funds are limited. My question is, would the peel and stick laminate tile work on a kitchen counter tops and if so is there anything special preparation that need to done to install?

Welcome to the forums! Please save your money and do the countertops right. The peel and stick stuff isn't meant for such an application.

If the countertops are in good condition, decorate around the color. Many of the old colors are back again, just a little different hue. As noted, save your money and do the job right.

I agree -- wait until you can do it right and then go with a laminate. Very cost effective. For now, spend a little on paint and the whole room will look like new.
