Hi,

First time poster here. I have twin daughters who are close to being teenagers and beginning to worry about clothes. They share the bedroom at the top of the house, with angled ceilings starting about 48" from the floor. Their closet is just a portion of their room walled off with no door. Does anyone have any ideas on how to create closet space that will accomodate two growing girls?

Welcome to the forums! Having a knee wall situation, sort of limits the vertical building of anything on those walls. In the closet you have, it may be a good idea to look at the metal shelving available at most big box stores. You can individualize each half of the closet to meet their demands. Stacking hanging areas makes good sense, since girl's stuff is short to begin with. Putting skirts and pants on the lower rods and tops on the top rods, will double the space. You could also install shelving for things like sweaters, shoes, and the like.
