I've been looking for a corner computer desk, and I can't seem to find one that fits my needs. The main problem I seem to run into is that most of them are too small for what I'm looking for, and too expensive for my small budget. I'm not looking for fancy, just functional, and essentially as cheap as I can get it.
I'm looking for something in an "L" or "V" shape about 60 in. x 60 in.
I really like the desk pictured here:

This is very much what I'm looking for, although slightly less elaborate: I don't really need the second tier, and I definitely don't need it to be strong enough to support 3 21" CRT monitors. I would however, like to be able to store multiple video game consoles, so if anyone has any suggestions on how to rework the shelving to best suit that, that'd be great (Xbox, 360, PS2, Dreamcast).
To wrap up, I don't have any woodworking experience, and as I'm looking around, I'm afraid this might be too big of a job for me to pull off.
Does anyone have any suggestions, especially if the recommendation is for me to not do this, what would be a feasible middle ground?
Thanks for your time. Any help is greatly appreciated.
P.S. Please let me know if I haven't given enough info. I'll try to be more specific. Thanks.

If you have absolutely no woodworking experience or tools, get a flat pack desk that most suits your needs, and modify it, or find someone with the experience and tools to help you.

The suggestion re: a ' flat pack' is great but could be costly. You will still need basic tools, glue and usually an extra set of hands. To build yourself confidence in the DIY area check the building supply stores in your area. Many offer free hands on classes and often make cuts in the lumber at no cost. You will find EXPERT advice and smiling faces. YOU CAN DO IT !!! I have.
