I have a window unit A/C, 25,000 btu. It's not blowing out cold air, just cool air. Seems like it is freezing up, when it runs for awhile. I have clean it out. Do you think this is caused by, low on freon ? Thanks in Advance. P.S. Unit is 12 years old. never had any freon put in it. thanks, again.

Yes. Its low in freon when the coils freeze up. Must have a small leak somewhere.
