Several years ago we planted a Creeping Juniper bed on a hilly, rocky, problem area of our lawn. It matured into a beautiful planting much beyond our expectations.
For several years now I have been applying a Miracle Grow water/hose "Miracid" type of fertilizer about every three weeks.
The bed is large, about 50 X 20 feet, so this is getting pretty expensive and the particular product that I have been using is getting harder and harder to find.
I would like to use a time release type of fertilizer but am reluctant because the Junipers are so thick that the pellets would just sit on top of the plants and burn them. The bed is so thick that even the snakes travel on top.
What are the options here.
thanks all
