Please HElp Me
iam new in alarm and i just buy the dsc1616 and rfx5500 with one motion (wireless) and one glassbreaker (wireless) both of them are 433MHZ

iam trying to connect them to the system but its not going right please help me if u can post step by step (for dummies) how to connect the keypad (enroll) and how to make the wireless motion and glass breaker works please please help me :)

iam living out of town and i want to have an alarm in myhouse :)

hello everybody :) just please read this and tell me if iam doing something wrong or i forget something :

i have a motion (ws4904) wireless and dsc1616 with rfk5500and i want to make it (the motion)on zone 10 ok so iam doing
this:

Puting The ESN Number
About the esn ian a little bit confuse what excatly i neead to out there i have in the back of the sensor s/n and esn i am trying to undetstand it cuse the ESN have letter in it if u can send me how it working and a list or tell me a website that the link

after i put the esn iam going to
*8 master

make sure light 2 is on


after that 001
going allthe way to zone 10 (20 bip) and make 03

after that
*8 Master
115
selecting 123 6
Then 904 to test the wireless
and i c the red light flashing couple time on the keypad
after that it should work ?
am i forgeting sonethis /???

you keep saying *8 master. but it's actually *8, installer code. when entering the esn number, the letters corrispond with a number. for example, A would be 1, B would be 2, etc. so if your esn number is 2A34B5, then you would enter under section 804, 10, 2*1*34*2*5. you need the * before and after that number. confusing i know. after you enter the esn number, go to *8, installer code, 110, and make sure that the number 8 is on. 8 is for wireless. hope this helps

Hmmm, you are going to need to be a little more specific about what you want this thing to actually do. 1 glass break and 1 motion is not really going to be too functional as a protection system.

What part of the process are you getting stuck on?

Security alarm system really do not lend themselves to "boiler plate" programming instructions because every install is a custom install by definition.
