please assist me.
i have a "check 09" on my keypad. i dont know what and where this error message is comming from. but i taken a wild guess. :wall:
i dont have the "household fire and burglary warning system control unit accessory" connected to the control panel. on the control panel their are numbers 1-20 i believe it goes that far, but where does the red wire, and the black (ground) wire connect to from the accessory?
** my question is, where does this accessory connect to? :confused: *** i want to make sure this is connected, and if the error message continue then ill try someting else..
*** any assistance is welcome. thanks for looking and reading.

Check 09 on a Vista 20se means that the panel cannot communicate with the wireless receiver, or more than 12 hours has passed without the wireless receiver getting a valid transmission from a transmitter.

Run a websearch using the phrase: "Vista 20se installation manual". Both the chart with the display info and the wiring diagrams are in it.

Nearly all add in boards on Vista panels wire just like keypads.
