My window is not cloudy as I've seen addressed in other posts, but it is very water spotted.
I've tried everything over the years but I haven't found anything that works. Any suggestions?

Over time acid rain can etch window glass. The damage is permanent. Cleaning windows with a glass wax product can minimize the appearance of damage and provide sheeting action.

After 60 yrs i think that just the fact the window is still intact is good. I would try twelepoles suggestion. There are products out there for hard water stains which may counteract your situation. But again 60yrs is a long time exposed to the climate. Most windows even now are only warrantied 10-20 yrs...the highest i have seen is 50 yrs

Hello,
Thank you for your responses. But I wonder about the 100 and over year old houses; is the glass in all their windows funky looking?

most likely they made windows differently back then the process left ripples in the glass

My granparents' house was a senior citizen when I used to go over there as a kid and try to to look through the waves in the window glass.
