Hey guys, this is my first post on this forum.
Done a lot of reading and your advise on
"If you are posting from outside North America, please read first:"
Is the problem related only to the voltage I think that can be easily solved.
To be more specific I liked the GE Simon XT system I would appreciate if anyone can tell me a bout what kind of problems I might have for using outside North America, other than the input 120V.

Thanx:coffee:

No, the problem is that the alarm version made outside of North America are often _very_ different in programming and configuration from the NA versions. In order to get info on these systems requires going to "international" or regional specific sites that often are proprietary.

In addition, often the law and regulations applicable are different in very important ways.

In your case, GE does make a European version of your system. The only real difference is a different power transformer, as far as I know.
