Hey:
I am installing some stainless steel shelfs that will hold about 70 pounds each. There is a stainless steel sheet acting as a wall cover and behind that is Durarock. Question... What type screws do I use to mount into the Durarock so I know it will hold the weight. I have four mounting holes in each shelf and no way to determine where the studs are located.
Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions.
Take care
Dan

Dan, look for an item called EZ-Toggle. If you can't find the studs using a stud finder, position the bracket where you want it, drill a 1/8th inch hole through just to see if it hits a stud. If not, then enlarge the hole (good luck through stainless) enough for the EZ Toggle to go through. Once installed and you start the screw it will trip a toggle and you can draw it tight against the Durock. They can handle up to 90# of sheer weight, so you should be OK.
