My ranger is not starting, I started it in the morning and when it idled it was glugging up and down between 1000- 2000 rpms so I decided to drive it around a little and it died as I was going up a hill. Now It wont start at all any help here. It acts like its not getting gas?

How far is the hill from home? How was it running until you got to the hill? Was it warm out or cold out? Was the car cold when you started toward the hill? Did this problem suddenly start doing this?, or has it been kinda doing the symptoms lately but got worse and worse?
Does the car have a carb and mechanical fuel pump or a throttle body injection and electric fuel pump?
Tell us all you can.

as eman said, more info. would help. if it is carburated, look in the carb. as you operate the throttle and SEE if it is not gettion gas. if throttle body/FI loosen the supply line and check for fuel. no fuel: a problem! maybe a fjilter, a pump, a carb./inj. system???
