My original bathroom cabinets were painted with oil-based paint. I repainted them over the weekend with alkyd paint with two coats (one on Saturday and one on Sunday) and they are still tacky. The temperature inside is around 76. I took the doors and drawers outside today in 95 temperature to hopefully, help them dry. They were well prepared with sanding beforehand. Will they ever dry?

Welcome to the forums!
Oil base paint is always kind of slow to dry. add extra pigment [darker colors] and it may take longer. Some brands take longer than others to dry.

Thank you for responding. My color is black. I guess that's why it's slow. Today is Tuesday. Do you think I should wait for a hard dry before putting the hardware on?

You can install the hardware before it cures but you need to be extra carefull because it is easier to damage the finish. The paint film will be harder when it cures.
