I hear there is a re-call,maybe a silent one,for some ford F- 150's due to brake failure. Any info would be helpful.

2006 F-150, super cab.

Thanks. A friend of my son lost his brakes and was lucky he didn't have a accident. Thats where the "silent re-call" came into play. waiting to fix this problem is negligent as far as i'm concerned.

I got a letter from Ford " your rear brake pads on your '06
Freestyle may be SOFT & wear out quickly"
" We will replace these up to 36 mo. or 36000 miles if they are defective "
