Hello,
Currently, the only insulation in my attic is fiberglass blown-in. I have recently been in the attic doing some work (putting in ceiling fans). In the process, some of this insulation has been trampled down by me walking on it. Would it be OK for me to blow some cellulose insulation over the top of my existing fiberglass blown-in insulation? In other words, does mixing these two types of insulation present any problems (reduced effectiveness, safety issues, etc.)?
Thanks

You can mix different types of insulation but in most cases, similar types are preferred.
