I'm looking to lay a small (roughly 4 feet square) concrete pad to sit beneath my pool's sand filter. The filter will wiegh about 300 lbs when running. Does anybody have any advice on how deep I should excavate and then whether I'd need any kind of reinforcement for the concrete?
