Hi,
We have bought a used motor home, it has cherry veneer cabinetry in it. There are a lot of scratches and stains on the cabinets especially around the handles. Can these be fixed, in some places the veneer is actually peeling off and they are very faded looking. Can this veneer be removed and the cabinets restained? If so, what is the best way to do it or is here another better fix for this?
Thanks!!!

Welcome to the forums! You may have cherry veneer on the cabinets, now, but once you pull the veneer off, you will probably have plywood or presswood, so removing the veneer without reinstalling veneer may not be advantageous. Have you thought of just replacing the doors with new ones in the stain color close to the one you have? If the veneer hasn't completely broken off, you may be able to glue it back in place and tape it until the glue cures. Just a few suggestions. Maybe others will chime in with better ones.
