Gardening and Horticulture - Is it to cold for hanging plants?

I have two hanging plants that are ready to be hung outside. I guess you can call them upside down plants, or Bablon Bag plants.They grow out of a green bag that you hang outside. One is a cherry tomoto plant, the other a strawberry plant. The temp all next week is going to be in the 50's for highs, and in the 40's for lows. Is this still to cold the hang these plants outside, or should I wait till the weather warms up a little more?

50 degrees is still pretty nippy for plants that have been indoors. You need to introduce plants gradually to the outdoors. Begin reducing water and place in a protected area in shade on warm days and gradually increase exposure to sun. Avoid windy days and temps below 45 degrees. This process is called 'hardening off' and should begin about two weeks before finally leaving plants outdoors.
