I am repairing some seams on my walls, and the 2nd & 3rd coats of joint compound are full of air bubbles. What is causing this and how do I avoid it in the future?

whip your mud witha paint mixer a drill maybe ad a LITTLE water,about a 20 ounce pepsi bottle for 5 gallons little less little more depending on temp.humidity etc you gotta mix your mud
