Hi everyone, here is what I'm looking for. I'm not sure if anyone makes it, but I'll try and describe it as well as I can.
In my garage, I have a standard light switch for my exterior lights. (1 switch--2 lights) I would like a remote control for these lights, but still be able to control them from a switch on the inside. Here is what I think: a RF controlled switch that fits in a standard box, but with a RF remote. That way, I can program one of the garage door buttons in my truck to turn the lights on and off when backing in. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I'd check with the manufacturer of your garage door opener. They may have a product that is friendlier to your controls than an aftermarket switch.

The light switch I want to control is simply for 2 lights on the outside of my garage. I want something that will take the place of the light switch in the wall. My truck transmitter can be programmed to any rf signal. (This is the type that you see with buttons on the rear view mirror)

See http://www.lutron.com/CMS400/default.aspx?app=RadioRA and see if that is what you are looking for.

I actually got a switch like this included, when I put in a Craftsman opener, granted it was about 15 yrs ago. I would think you should be able to find something pretty easily. Does your truck support "Homelink". I know there are many plug in accessories for that, not sure about the exact thing yer looking for.

I Have a Craftsman opener like Gunguy45 --
Like chandler said-check w/ your garage door opener Mfr.or
local distr.--Mine operates w/ remote box in the kitchen-
seperate box in wife's car & is programed to the homelink
in my car. ( on my sunvisor )
It opens the door or turns on the two outside lights on
the garage.
Good luck............................
