I amgoing to spray my kitchen cieling with a popcorn sprayer,do i have to do anything special to prepare the surface and what is the best popcorn ceiling brand to use?

Kitchens and baths are the last place you want to put an accoustic ceiling. Got to remember ther is no way to clean this ceiling, and moisture is their worst enemy. I would seriously rethink the idea.
