Ran across an inspector that noted a requirement that I'm unsure how to meet. We have a small, wall mounted (Mr. slim) type AC unit in a small office. The inspector noted a requirement in the mechanical code that requires an auxiliary drain pain or a leak detection device on the unit.
Installing an aux. drain pan for a wall mounted unit is not practical. Also, as the unit enclosure is small, there is not room for a moisture detector inside the unit.
Any ideas???

Don't know what type you got but will a wet switch fit in there?
