A random question. How can I access the internet via my cell phone, connecting to my ISP. High speed internet service is not available in my area and won't be for quite some time. Our phone lines are bad and getting worse. I have a HP Desktop PC, with Windows XP Home, SP2. My cell is with AT&T. As always, thank you in advance

You will need a broadband wireless card such as one of these:

You will also have to have a unlimited data plan for your cell phone which would cost probably an extra $40+ a month.

Also, verify with AT&T that they actually have cellular broadband in your area.

Make sure you check you cell plan charges for data. I have heard stories of people getting billed for 100s of dollars, not realizing they were being charged by the bit for internet data.
