in the master bedroom, moisture forms on the window. i know this is from too much humidity. but there has to be a more permanent solution than buying a dehumidifier for that room. it's the only room that does it. the master bath does not have a "fan". could the humidity from the bathroom (showers, baths, etc.) cause such high humidity in the rest of the room? would a fan in the bath fix it? thanks.

Hi:mitch
The least expensive way is to check for drafts around that window. Too much draft will cause the problem.
If that doesn't correct the moisture problem, try this. Leave the bathroom door closed after showers and open the bathroom window.
If all else fails, then you just may have to install the bathroom fan. Which you may want to do anyway, to preserve the paint.
Good Luck,

Good Answer Tom, but in some parts of the USA I'd be concerned about an open window. The problem with moisture in a bathroom is also the open bowl of water in the toilet tank. Keeping the tank top down will reduce some evaporation. Even a very low power desk type fan to recycle air around will help.
