I installed my composite deck boards the other day. Now I need to trim the planks that run over- Deck is about 11.9' feet wide- so my 12' deck boards run over.
What is best way to trim these up so they are flush?? The circular saw does not seem like it do the job like I want.
Any tricks?

I'm not sure I understand why you think a circular saw won't work.
I've never used anything but a circular saw to trim deck boards. Just snap a line as a guide and cut on the line. I use a hand saw or sawzall where the circular saw won't reach. If you are concerned about getting a neat, perfectly straight line you can clamp a fence to the decking.
