I need to install a gas line (black pipe) to go into house whats the best way to make a hole on a brick house?

If you can drill through the mortar joint, it would be simple to do with a carbide masonary bit and a standard drill. Otherwise, a rotary hammer drill rented will drill easily through the brick itself.
