My GE Profile TFH27PR refridgerator is about 15 years old and the rubberized handles are no longer white. The white has been worn off and the grips are now tan.
Replacement handles would run me about $75 but I hesitate putting money into such an old fridge.
I would like to know if it is possible to repaint the handles so they are white again. If yes, what type of paint should I use. Thanks.

Welcome to the forums!
I've never painted anything like that but if I were to, I'd use a latex enamel [maybe with some emulsa bond added] or one of those spray paints made for plastics.

I bought a $4 can of white spray paint made for plastic figuring I had nothing to lose and it worked very well. Two coats were necessary, but I am very pleased with the result. Thank you very much.:D
